Five levels, and five stages inside each

Every child starts as a curious Explorer and travels all the way to a Heart of Gold. Within each age band there are five stages, so progress never depends on waiting for a birthday.

Inside every level

The five stages

These same five stages sit inside all five age bands. The stage names stay constant; what changes is the reading level, the depth of the questions and the subject matter.

    Basic Bible knowledge and simple questions

  3. Junior

    Intermediate questions needing some Bible familiarity

  4. Intermediate

    Challenging content for regular Bible readers

  5. Advanced

    In-depth questions for experienced learners

Explorer

Reading: Read to me. Children this age are not reading yet. Every word is read aloud by the app or a grown-up, and answers use pictures as well as words.

Not sure where your child fits?

Start at the age level and the Easy stage. If it feels too simple after a few days, move up a stage rather than an age band.
